THE 6TH SUPPLICATION
THE SUPPLICATION OF THE MESSENGER IN THE BATTLE OF AL-AHZAB (THE CONFEDERATES)
The supplication: “O Allah! Revealer of the book (the Noble Quran), the Swift in reckoning! Vanquish the enemies! O Allah! Vanquish them and make the earth shake under them”
By: Muhammad, Allah’s Messenger.
Proof of acceptance: Allah, The Exalted and Possessor of Majesty says: [O you who believe! Remember Allah’s favour to you, when there came against you hosts, and We sent against them a wind of forces that you saw not. And Allah is Ever All-Seer of what you do.]
Allah has afflicted the confederates (Al-Ahzab) with such wind that kept not their tents steady, nor did it let their cooking pots up, nor did it make their flames blaze till they departed disappointed and frustrated. Had it not been for his being a mercy to mankind, jinn and all that exist, that wind would have afflicted them even more than the barren wind sent upon Aad.
Allah says [And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad) are amongst them.] (Al- Anfal: 23). And Allah is All-Sufficient in granting His slave triumph; routin Al-Ahzab and to say: “There is no god Allah, Who fulfilled His promise, granted His slave triumph, honoured His forces, routed (defeated) the confederates single handedly. Verily, He is The Last.
