THE 22nd SUPPLICATION
The supplication of Allah’s messenger for umm-haram bint malhan (may Allah be pleased with them)
The Supplication: His supplication for Umm-Haram bint Malhan (may Allah be pleased with them} to navigate with the Muslim invaders for Allah’s Sake.
Proof Of acceptance: bin Abdullah bin Talha narrated on the authority Anas bin Malek (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard him saying: “When Allah’s Messenger goes to Quba (a place on the outskirts or Al-Madinah) he used to pay a visit to Ubada bin As-Samet whose wife Umm Haram bint Malhan used to present food to the Prophet who after eating; he once slept and got up laughing. She asked him: “What makes you Laugh, O Allah’s Messenger!” He said; “Some people of my Community are displayed before me, sailing this sea in Allah’s Cause; kings on the thrones, or like kings on the thrones,” Ishaq doubted. She said: “Invoke Allah to make me amongst them.” Allah’s Messenger invoked for her. He then reclined and slept. He got up laughing, Haram asked him “What makes you laugh, C) Allah’s Messenger!” He said: “Some people of my community are displayed to me, sailing this sea in Allah’s Cause; kings on the thrones, or like kings on the thrones:’ She said: *Invoke Allah to make me amongst them,” The Prophet said to her: “You are amongst the foremost.” During the principality of Muawiyah, She sailed. When getting out of the sea, she fell of her animal and died.” [reported by Al-Bukhari]
