THE 1ST SUPPLICATION

THE MESSENGER’S SUPPLICATION IS AN INTERCESSION FOR HIS COMMUNITY

The supplication: (O my Lord! My community!)

                                (O my Lord! My community!)

Proof of acceptance: Narrated Abu-Hurrairah (May Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet said: “To every Prophet, there is an accepted invocation that is accepted when invoked; yet I postponed mine as an intercession for my community on the Day of Resurrection” [Muslim]

Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah’s Prophet said: “Every Prophet had his accepted supplication, and I’ll have mine as an intercession for my community on the Day of Resurrection”. [Bukhari]

Narrated Abu-Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah’s Messenger said: “Every Prophet’s invocation for his community had been accepted; but, l, at Allah’s Will, Wish to delay mine intercession for my community on the Day Of Recompense.” [Muslim]

From the long Noble Hadith of the intercession that includes this supplication, reported by Muslim “Seek Muhammad Then, they will there come to me and I’ll say: “I am fit for this undertaking” Then, I’ll hasten (proceed) and ask for Allah’s permission, and I’ll be given permission, Them I’ll stand before Him and I’ll utter such inspired praises and thanks that I can’t say now,

Then, I’ll fall down before Him prostrate, and it’ll be said to me: “O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you’ll be listened to and ask, for you’ll be granted (your request) and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted,”

Iill “O My Lord! My community! My community! Then it’ll be said to me: “Go ahead (proceed) and take out from Hell those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain, and I’ll do, Then, I will return to my Lord and glorify Him with such praises and will fall down in prostration before Him as long as He wishes, and it’ll be said to me: Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you’ll be Listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request) and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted. Then, I’ll say; “My community! My community!” Then, it’ll be said to me: “Go ahead (proceed) and take out from Hell those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed. I’ll go ahead and do that. Then, return to my Lord and glorify Him, with such praises, Then, I’ll fall down in prostration before him, then it’ll be Said to me: “Of Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you’ll be listened to and ask, for you will be granted (your request) and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted. Then I’ll say: “My community! My community!” Then, it’ll be said to me: “Go ahead and take out from Hell those who have had Faith less than the least ever of the weight of a grain of mustard seed.” I’ll go ahead and will do that.

Narrated Abu-Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet said: “I’ll haste ahead (proceed), and under the Throne, fall down in prostration to my Lord, Then, Allah will inspire me with such unpreceded praises and glories. Then, it’ll be said to me; “O Muhammad! Raise your head and speak, for you Will be listened to, and ask, for you’ll be granted (your request) and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.” [reported by Muslim]

Then, I’ll say, “O Allah! My community! My community!” Then, it Will be said to me, Muhammad! Lead those who aren’t to be reckoned through the right gate of Paradise, and they are to share the others in the Other gates Of Paradise. By He whose hands my soul is: the distance between the two leaves of each gate of Paradise is the same as it is between Makkah and Hojor, or as it is between Makkah and Basra) [reported by Muslim]
