THE 13th SUPPLICATION
THE PROPHET’S SUPPLICATION FOR ABU-HURRIARAH (MAY ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM)
The Supplication: “O Allah! Cast love to your slave, Abu. Hurriarah and his mother in the hearts of Your slave believers, and let the love of the believers be cast in their hearts.”‘
Proof of acceptance: Quoted from the previous hadith narrated by Abu-Hurrairah: “I returned to Allah’s Messenger weeping out of rejoicing (because his mother embraced Islam) and said: “O Allah’s Messenger! Rejoice at the good news. Allah accepted your invocation and guided Umm (mother of) Abu-Hurriarah” Allah’s Messenger glorified and praised Allah and said: “Well” I said: “Invoke Allah to make me and my mother beloved by His slave believers and to make them beloved by us. Allåh’s Messenger invoked saying: “O Allah! Make Your slave Abu-Hurriarah and his mother beloved by Your slave believers and make them beloved by Abu-Hurrairah and his mother,” Hence, no created believer hears of me and not see me, but loves me.”
