PART 8: DUA FOR SUCCESS IN THE HEREAFTER
1. Dua of the Believers for the best in Dunya and best in Aakhirah:
“Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the punishment of the Fire!” (Qur’an 2:201)
2. Dua of the Believers confirming Faith:
“Our Lord! Verily, it is You Who will gather mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt. Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise.” (Qur’an 3:9)
3. Dua of the Believers for Protection from Hell-Fire:
“Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, Glory to You! And save us from the punishment of the Fire.” (Qur’an 3:191)
4. Dua of the Believers for Protection from Hell-Fire:
“Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zalimun (wrong-doers) find any helpers.” (Qur’an 3:192)
5. Dua of the Believers for Forgiveness and Mercy:
“Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sin and remit from us our evil deeds, and take our souls with the righteous.” (Qur’an 3:193)
6. Dua of the Believers for Mercy:
“Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise.” (Qur’an 3:194)
7. Dua of the Believers for Protection from Hell-Fire:
“Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable punishment.”
“Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.” (Qur’an 25:65-66)
8. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) for Success and Forgiveness:
“My Lord! Bestow Hukman (Wisdom) on me, and join me with the righteous;”
“And grant me an honourable mention in later generations;”
“And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight;”
“And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring;”
“And disgrace me not on the Day when (all) will be resurrected;”
“The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,”
“Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart (free of evil).” (Qur’an 26:83-89)
9. Dua of the People of Al-Araf in Aakhirah:
“Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers).”
(Qur’an 7:47)
10. Dua of the Believers in Aakhirah:
“Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things.”
(Qur’an 66:8)
11. Dua of Aasiya (r.a) [Firaun’s wife] for Paradise:
“My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise.”
(Qur’an 66:11)
