PART 6: DUA FOR PARENTS AND FAMILY
1. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) for Forgiveness:
“Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.” (Qur’an 14:41)
2. Dua for the Believers concerning Parents:
“My Lord! Bestow on them (Parents) Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.”
(Qur’an 17:24)
3. Dua of Nuh (a.s) for Forgiveness:
“My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zalimun (wrong-doers) grant You no increase but destruction!”
(Qur’an 71:28)
4. Dua of the Believers concerning Wives and Offspring:
“Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun (God Conscious, Pious, Righteous).”
(Qur’an 25:74)
5. Dua of Zakariya (a.s) for Offspring:
“My Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.”
(Qur’an 3:38)
6. Dua of Musa (a.s) for Forgiveness and Mercy:
“My Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and make us enter into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
(Qur’an 7:151)
7. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) for Peace and Security:
“My Lord! Make this city one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.”
(Qur’an 14:35)
8. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) for Steadfastness in Prayers:
“My Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat (Establishing Prayers), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.”
(Qur’an 14:40)
9. Dua of Lut (a.s) for Protection:
“My Lord! Save me and my family from what they (disbelievers) do.”
(Qur’an 26:169)
10. Dua of Zakariya (a.s) for Offspring:
“My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors.”
(Qur’an 21:89)
11. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) for Offspring:
“My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.”
(Qur’an 37:100)
12. Dua of the Angels:
“Our Lord! And make them enter the ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens) which you have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All Wise.”
(Qur’an 40:8)
