PART 3 : DUA FOR SINCERITY AND PATIENCE
1. Dua of the Believers for Patience and Courage:
“Our Lord! Pour forth on us patience, make our steps firm and help us against the disbelieving people.”
(Qur’an 2:250)
2. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) while building the Ka’aba:
“Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.”
(Qur’an 2:127)
3. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) while building the Ka’aba:
“Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (Ways of Devotion), and accept our repentance.
Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.”
(Qur’an 2:128)
4. Dua of the Believers for Firmness in Faith:
“Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.”
(Qur’an 3:8)
5. Dua of the Believers during Isa (a.s):
“Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger so write us down among those who bear witness.”
(Qur’an 3:53)
6. Dua of Shuaib (a.s) for Allah’s Decision:
“Our Lord! Decide between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those who give decision.”
(Qur’an 7:89)
7. Dua of the Magicians after accepting Faith during Musa (a.s):
“Our Lord! Pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims (the one submitting to Allah’s Will).”
(Qur’an 7:126)
8. Dua of Musa (a.s) confirming Sincerity:
“My Lord! For that with which You have favored me, I will never more be a helper for the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, etc.)!”
(Qur’an 28:17)
9. Dua of Ibrahim (a.s) confirming Faith:
“Our Lord! In You we put our trust, and to You we turn in repentance, and to You is (our) final Return.”
(Qur’an 60:4)
