91. THE DELEGATION OF AS-SADIF
About ten riders arrived and they found Allah’s Messenger, (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), on his Minbar addressing the people. They sat down without greeting. The Messenger of Allah, (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), said to them: “Are you Muslims?” They answered in the affirmative and he said: “Shouldn’t you have said the Salam?” They got up swiftly and said: “Peace, Mercy and Blessing (of Allah) be upon you, O Prophet.” He responded: “And upon you be at peace. Sit down.”They sat down and they later asked him about the times of Salawat (prayers).”
